Lauren & Josh - Spring Lake, NJ Wedding

I cannot say enough great things about Lauren & Josh.  We went for cheese steaks during their Philadelphia engagement shoot, not after... during.  That should say enough right there.  

On their wedding day we spent a little time dodging torrential downpours, but still managed to have first look, portraits, and the ceremony outside. Their wedding was so much fun I was bummed when it was over, and I'm disappointed we can't do it all over again.  This is why I love my job.

Joel + Lindsay - Full Moon Resort Wedding

I often say that I love my job, here's proof that I'm not full of it.  Joel & Lindsay's wedding took place on my birthday, and I couldn't have been happier to spend my birthday shooting an amazing wedding.

This one had all the correct ingredients - Amazing people, amazing location in the mountains, a relaxed timeline, and an absurdly fun reception.  And possibly a drink or two at the after party!

Anthony & Jessica in Jamaica - Jamaican Destination Wedding

I know what you're thinking.  "Dennis, the last wedding you posted before your best of the year was a wedding in Jamaica.  Surely you can't be serious that you shot two consecutive weddings in Jamaica."  

I am serious. And don't call me Shirley.  

6 days after I got back from Jamaica, I jumped on another plane and flew back to shoot Anthony & Jessica's wedding at Sandals Whitehouse Resort.  Further confirming how much I love to travel for weddings. I got to spend another weekend with a fantastic group of people that welcomed me with open arms.  My job is awesome.

Best of 2016

I'm really not sure where to start with this post.  2016 has been a difficult year in a lot of ways for a lot of people.  I'm fortunate that my job is all about happiness and love.  When going through all of the photos for this post, it was impossible for me not to smile.  It's completely nuts that I get to do what I love for a living. 

Thank you to everyone who looks at my photos, Thank you to everyone who found themselves in front of my camera.  And the most important thank you goes to my clients, you were the reason 2016 was an amazing year for me.

Diane & Vinnie - Destination Wedding - Montego Bay Jamaica

Not quite where to start With Diane & Vinnie's wedding.  It's such an honor to be flown to another country to shoot a wedding.  I love my job and I love to travel, so it's a huge win win for me as well!  I got to spend 3 days in Jamaica with Diane, Vinnie, and abou 120 of the friends and family.  I certainly felt like a member of the family about 3 hours after I got there.  I'm not much of a writer, but the photos do a pretty damn good job of showing the kind of wedding weekend Diane & Vinnie had.  If it looks like everyone had an insanely good time (myself included)  that would be correct.
