My sister recently came for a visit, which is always good, because when Linnea comes I always have a willing model. I have been driving past this bridge overpass for a couple months now, and have really really been wanting to shoot there. I definitely will be going back there to shoot again. Enjoy.
So I went to the camera shop on a whim yesterday... just to peruse the shelves... maybe check out some lenses that cost more than my first car did. And of course they had some new little toys that were pretty affordable. So I had to buy them, a mini soft box for my flash more portable for soft lighting on location... and a nice gel pack for fun with colors. Meg had a prior obligation with her grandmother, mother and aunt last night so I was left to play with myself... wait a sec... I hate doing self portraits... but sometimes you are forced too. Shot these right outside my front door, turns out it's a great location... the other one i shot in my bathroom. Who needs a studio?
So, weddings are filled with all sorts of great moments.. ranging from bittersweet to the downright hilarious. This is the latter. Without fail every NJ wedding must have a Bon Jovi song played which usually illicits some cheers and jumping and what not. I have never seen a reaction like this. Also, keep in mind this is the groom. Good Times
Saw this the other day while on my way to pay rent. It was one of those moments where if I didn't take a photo of it I would regret it forever. It's reasons like this that I take my camera EVERYWHERE with me.
Meg and I are going to be traveling to Costa freakin Rica in May! we'll be going for about a week. We are incredibly excited, although I am a little worried Meg won't be coming back. This is a danger that you encounter when taking a zoologist specializing in herpetology (more specifically poison dart frogs) to the rain forest. I think I need to buy some extra memory cards, cause I have a feeling I'll be shooting somewhere in the neighborhood of about 3000-4000 photos. Can't wait
