Tomislav & Sherry- The Waterside- North Jersey Wedding Photographer

I shot Tomislav and Sherry's wedding with Brian of The Bleu Studio.  I had an inkling of the kind of day this was going to be when I got to Tomislav's parent's house and everyone was already singing, dancing.  The rest of the day kept the same tone.  I don't think there was a single moment where Tomislav didn't have a giant grin the entire day.  You will be hard pressed to find two people happier with each other than Tomislav and Sherry.  Ejoy.

The Major's Inn - Gilbertsville NY Wedding Photographer - Liz & Eric

I was thrilled when Liz contacted me about shooting her wedding, Liz and I go WAY back, like since 2nd grade.  I was even more excited when she told me where.  The Major's Inn is a venue that has character to spare.   Liz and Eric kept their wedding simple, no limos, no DJ,  just family and friends celebrating the marriage of two of the nicest, most genuine people you could ever want to meet, in a setting that complimented everything perfectly.   A big thanks goes out to Liz and Eric for letting me be a part of such an awesome day.

Diana & Kenneth, Aberdeen NJ Wedding Photographer

The day that Diana & Kenneth got married was very touch and go when it came to the weather.  When Diana started getting ready at the Sheraton Hotel in Edison, it was hot, humid and the clouds were very ominous, but that didn't stop anybody from being in a great mood.  Well, the skies opened up and it poured, deluged even, during their ceremony. But the clouds parted and the sun came out just in time for their ceremony to end, which gave us some beautiful, slightly cooler weather for some photos around New Brunswick.  By the time we got to The Addison Park, in Aberdeen, it was back to hot and humid, but we were inside and the a/c was cranked, and everyone knew it was time to party and keep the dance floor filled for the rest of the night.  Diana and Kenneth are two of the nicest, most genuine people you could ever want to meet, and that showed through for every part of their wedding.  Thanks guys, I had a great time, and it's quite obvious you did too.

Mirror Lake

In the spirit of trying to blog more, now that I have the new awesome looking blog.  I figured I would give you folks one photo for today.  This a little bit of personal work.  About two months ago, my wife, Meg, and I took a trip to Lake Placid in the Adorandaks for our 1 year anniversary.  She didn't know where we were going until about 3 and 1/2 hours into the drive.  I like to surpise her with things like that.  It probably would have been a more lavish trip had we not just gone to Italy and Spain in March.  Anyway, we had a great hotel right on Mirror Lake,  it was a really nice departure from the North Jersey area, which can be a little hectic at times.  I took this photo about 10 steps outside our room's patio.  No, I cannot put my camera down, even on my anniversary.  But my wife being awesome,  doesn't mind too much.  She knew she was marrying a comeplete photography nerd.  Enjoy.  Also, use this photo a s a little inspiration to take a weekend, and get away from the hecticness (is that a word?) of your everyday life and go someplace awesome with someone you care about.  It'll be worth it.

Christina & David. Hoboken, NJ Wedding Photographer

Christina & David were married on what started out as a dreary spring day.  As the day went on, the rain cleared up and gave us some amazing light at just the right time for some great portraits.  The vibe of this wedding was nothing but fun from the very beginning despite the less than optimal weather.  Once the reception started it definitely turned into an epic party.  Christina's father even grabbed a microphone and serenaded her during their first dance.  Also, a big thank you to Brian from The Bleu Studio for asking me to shoot this one with him.  Now, onto the photos.
